Cleaning-Refurbishing Program
Our Cleaning-Refurbishing program has been designed for buffing pads exclusively. Our program guarantees that the design integrity of your buffing pad is not compromised in the cleaning and refurbishing process. Clean, refurbished buffing pads are advantageous in that they don’t need to be broken in. They also throw less lint and work better in general than new buffing pads. Purchasing new pads and having your pads cleaned has always been the most economical way to hold your buffing and polishing cost down.

Compounding VS. Polishing
Over the years there seems to have been a graying area in the use of compounding versus polishing pads. Some companies, have tried to promote the idea that one buff can do the job of compounding (glazing). This is, however, not true.
It has been our job at Clean Tech Buffs to promote the correct way to accomplish the absolute best finishing results: cuttings pads must be followed by polishing pads whenever the best finish is required.
Though there are no one-pad shortcuts to an excellent job, there are choices in the types of pad to use that can speed up the process, depending on the material being buffed and results required.
Varying buffing pad pile height, density, and fiber composition can make dramatic changes in the time required to achieve the desired compounding results.
